Overview
This project in Chineham was a extensive installation of a substation and power supply for 8 fast charging units on behalf of a major EV provider. This new charging hub can charge up to 8 EV vehicles at once, and are 160kW DC Chargers, providing convenient access for both local residents, commuters, as well as supporting local businesses and their visitors with reliable EV infrastructure.
Scope
This installation included a full substation build, with small lighting and power works, with 7x 300mm punched waveform design cables (2x per phase & 1x neutral) as well as 2 x 120mm earth cables, supplying a customer LV pillar. This was terminating to a 1250 amp ACB to utilise cops metering.
