Overview
This important upgrade was completed on behalf of Ringways for Transport for London in order to improve the energy efficiency and the low level of lighting in the underpass. This underpass is a major transport link in Central London and ensuring our teams safety, this project involved a full road closure with pressing time constraints.
Scope
The Cable Connections team worked night shifts to replace 179 lights in the underpass to LED. For health and safety reasons this install required a full road closure, and with time constraints, this meant we fitted 30 to 40 lights every night. This extensive upgrade required full HERS compliance and certifications across the whole team, which we have as standard.
