Overview
Under Old Kent Road, this underpass was dark, dingy and unsafe, meaning the pass was not able to be used at night, and local residents were using longer routes. We were asked to upgrade the cabling and lighting to ensure safety and compliance, as well as improve the local area.
Scope
We completed this project quickly and efficiently, running new cable and cable management ready for x18 5ft linear fittings in the underpass, and x22 ramp flood light fittings for the entrances and exit of the underpass. This included install some at height, and making sure that each light sufficient lights up the area, improve safety for pedestrians at all hours.
