Overview
This project was taking an abandoned and rundown building and restoring it in order to be used by small and upcoming businesses as an office space, including a printing company, facilities management company and a charity for the young people of Portsmouth who are in need of support.
Scope
Complete electrical strip out and install including -
Ground Floor -
Spilt areas into 8 Units, Reception Area and Office Area.
Install new power and lighting distribution board, and a metered individual board in each unit
Repair dado where possible and rewire all sockets and switches due to crosses in ring final circuit
Replace lighting where required to LED
Replace floor box sockets across building
Rewire Reception and Office ring mains
Install electric heaters in each unit
Test and commission
1st Floor
Rip out all containment, lighting and wiring
Spilt areas into 3 Units, and communal area.
Install new power and lighting distribution board, and a metered individual board in each unit
Install new dado and rewire all sockets and switches due to crosses in ring final circuit
Install new LED panels, including some emergency.
Install electric heaters in all units
Split hand dryer and water heater onto own circuits
Install new emergency test switches and exit bulkheads over fire exits
Test and commission
2nd Floor
Rewire all sockets and lighting
Spilt areas into 3 Units, and communal area.
Install new power and lighting distribution board, and a metered individual board in each unit
Repair dado where possible
Install LED panels in some units and communal areas
Install electric heaters in units
Install emergency lighting for exit route
