– This course aims to provide an overview of the CDM regulations, including the responsibilities of the duty holders at each stage of a project. It also aims to give an understanding of how implementation of these regulations impacts on the overall management and co-ordination of health, safety and welfare throughout all stages of a project, and the associated benefits in terms of the reduction of accidents and ill health.

- Describe the requirements for the pre-construction stage
- Describe the requirements for the construction phase
- Describe the contents of the Health and Safety file
- Explain how the H&S file should be used after the project has been completed
